Tactics can work beautifully when used within a overarching strategy. You’ll occasionally hear about a specific tactic growing someone’s list or getting them a crazy amount of sales so you can easily start to think that the same thing can happen for you if you just invest in that tactic. Then, when you don’t get the results you were hoping for you’re nothing but disappointed.
Does a failed SEO campaign or a non-performing social media post mean that Search Engine Optimization or Social Media don’t work? No, it simply means that there are other things to consider when launching or analyzing these marketing efforts.
